Birthday!

E's BFF turned FOUR this month!  She is an avid bookworm and LOVES reading, so of course my first thought was her very own library book bag (which was filled to the brim with books E picked out for her friend - all Curious George!)

The book image was cut from the Learning Curve cartridge. The font is from Hannah Montana.   I used EasyWeed heat transfer vinyl.  I purchase my vinyl from Coastal Business Supply.

I made Maddie this awesome bookmark to keep her place in all of her new books.

This card was so fun to make! I used Once Upon a Princess for the cupcake.

I mentioned before that September/early October had 10 birthdays for us! Here are a few more of the cards I made to celebrate!

This was my "man" card - it went to my dad and my FIL.

This card is probably my favorite from the group I made! These went to my 2 year old niece and a good friend of ours that turned 1 in October! It was made using Once Upon a Princess (OUAP) Cricut cartridge. I also used my edge punch (Threading Water) and some pearls to accent the princess' dress.

Birthday card barrage!

September is a BUSY month for us, birthday-wise. I had10 birthdays to prepare for! And so I made all the cards ahead of time (which doesn't mean I've sent them OUT on time, but that's another issue for another blog ;-))

Here are two of the designs I'm sending. I have a few more up my sleeve for another day :-)

E turned two at the beginning of July. We had a big party for her with family, but wanted to do something for her three BFFs. So we had a Piggy/PJ party. Here are the invites for that little shin-dig!

Birthday Card

My cousin's birthday was a few weeks ago. I sent him this card.

I used VersaMark ink to watermark the gold card base (hard to see in these pictures).

The "Happy birthday" and the bird are stamped with VersaMark and embossed. I super puffy heart Ranger extra fine embossing powder for embossing words. The flourish on the bottom is stamped with VersaFine ink.

This is a birthday card for a dear friend (who used to be a little kid, but is now a beautiful grown woman!) She deserved some indulgence for her birthday this year. And I've been dying to use the "birthday calories" stamp!

Hoppy Birthday!

I made this card for a niece. She was turning 6. She's a girl who likes to kiss frogs from the pond in her backyard :-)

I used the Animal Kingdom cartridge for my Cricut to make the frog. The party hat is from the Celebration cartridge. The font is from Plantin Schoolbook, with some of the letters "real dial" sized.

Inside I added a gift die from the Celebration cartridge.
